With a new session of Parliament and the federal budget only weeks away, it is time for business aviation to be heard!

We have distributed the submission (ENGLISH & FRENCH) to the Finance and Transport ministers, as well as opposition party critics, and have already received a lot of interest.  But that is just the start:  Every member of Parliament needs to know how business aviation can create jobs and economic opportunity in their ridings, and we need your help to spread the word!

Please copy and send the email below to your MP – the links to our submission are already there – all you have to do is hit send!  It is a simple process yet will make a huge difference in our work in Ottawa. We hope you will help us on this journey!

Feel free to personalize it and please don’t forget to copy us at membersupport@cbaa.ca

Dear (NAME OF  YOUR MP)

With federal budget deliberations underway, I am pleased to share ideas on ways that business aviation can be used as tool for progressive social and economic opportunity. The Canadian Business Aviation Association's pre-budget submission, Shared Values, Shared Opportunities can signal the start of a new direction and a clear vision for Canada.  You can access the submission in English and French HERE .

Despite popular misconceptions that plague our sector, business aviation has great potential to be a force for positive change.  With its rapid fleet turnover and use of cutting-edge technology, business aviation can help Canada reduce its carbon emissions and fight climate change. Providing stable and consistent transportation to small communities to and from major airport hubs, it can create new opportunities for local jobs and connect remote and Indigenous communities to major centres.  Linking our corporations to world markets, business aviation can help assure our success in international trade and commerce.

The document focuses on the actions we can take to align business aviation with many of the government’s goals to improve the economic wellbeing of Canadians no matter where they live, while ensuring access, reducing our carbon footprint, and enhancing safety through modern and realistic regulations.

Thank you for your attention.
