New Subpart 604 Development Update
Regulatory development continues with a TC lead consultation focus group, scheduled for 29 - 31 May, whose recommendations will be submitted to TC and should form the basis for a possible regulatory framework which will be published in Gazette Part 1 next year. The CBAA will be well represented on this group. This means that the Interim Order will be reissued and that a new Subpart 604 will not likely be published until late next year. It is the CBAA's belief that this extended process is the best chance business aviation has to end up with a regulatory framework that supports the growth of business aviation in Canada and permits TC to assure business aviations operations remain safe.
Should you have further questions on this process change, please do not hesitate to contact Merlin Preuss ( Cette adresse e-mail est protégée contre les robots des spammeurs, vous devez activer Javascript pour la voir. ), your VP Government and Regulatory Affairs.
