The CBAA mobile app brings a new dimension to your marketing strategy with the ability to electrify your exposure and content. App’s are the most cost effective and dynamic way to give attendees a truly unique event experience.
The mobile app allows you to plan your booth visits in advance, view the schedule of events and set reminders for yourself on your mobile device. No need to carry a paper program, everything is available on your mobile device. Mobile App Marketing Opportunities
Event Sponsor: $5000
The Event Sponsor Banner appears on the front page and is the first page that attendees will land on once inside the application; as a Home page, it gives attendees the information they need when they need it.
Every time a delegate selects the now screen - before, during, or after the event, they will be seeing your ad. Having this visibility is a great way to drive traffic to a specific website.
As the Event Sponsor, you are also entitled to a full media package which includes:

Rotating Banners: $500 each
Rotating banners are at the very top of each session or event activity description. These banners are connected to URL links which can go to a webpage of your choice. These webpages are launched from within the app so attendees are able to navigate quickly and simply to them.
Rotating banner ad package price: A single slot will appear 1 time out of 20, for the duration of the conference. Prices vary from $500 (1 slot) to $1200(3 slots).
Media Banners: Between $100-$250 per item
The Media Banners are fully interactive banners allowing attendees to explore the attached media without leaving the app. Media banners can hold a wide variety of information, which after the initial download becomes native to the app. Types of media recommended as banners include:

Dynamic ‘NOW’ page: $500 per 6hr timeslot - Up to 5 on homepage
The Dynamic “NOW” front page appears as the home page for the application. The “NOW” view allows sponsors to display ads with a link to a webpage or other media. The ads/images are displayed on the Home screen of the application for a specific period of time.
Mr. Toby Lennox was appointed Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Communications of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) in 2007. Mr. Lennox manages all aspects of media relations, corporate communications, government relations and corporate social responsibility for the GTAA. He has been with the GTAA since 1995, and previously held the position of Senior Legal Counsel in the organization. Toby originally assisted with the negotiations on the transfer of Toronto Pearson International Airport to the GTAA in 1996. Mr. Lennox is Chair of the Steering Committee for Partners in Project Green, Canada’s largest industrial eco-park.
Prior to joining the GTAA in 1995, he practiced corporate law with Osler, Hoskin and Harcourt in Toronto.
Mr. Lennox has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Trent University, a Masters of Arts from Dalhousie University and law degrees from Oxford University and Dalhousie University.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
NOTICE
Please take NOTICE that the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the CANADIAN BUSINESS AVIATION ASSOCIATION will be held Wednesday June 13th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Convention, located at Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel in Toronto for the following purpose:
- To receive annual reports;
- To receive the financial report and appoint an auditor;
- To elect Directors;
- To ratify all acts of the Directors;
- To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting.
If you have any matter which you would like to have brought before the meeting, please advise this office in advance so that it may be placed on the Agenda.

Martin Eley was appointed to the position of Director General (DG), Civil Aviation on May 4, 2009.
Martin started his aviation career in 1972 as an undergraduate with the British Aerospace Civil Division at Weybridge, Surrey, England. He graduated in 1977 with a B.Sc (Hon) in Aeronautical Engineering from the Imperial College of the University of London. He then moved to work on the application of composite materials to Jaguar and Tornado Aircraft with the British Aerospace Military Division at Warton, Lancashire, England.
In 1982, Martin moved to Canada to join Transport Canada (TC) as a structures engineer in the Airworthiness Branch. As a Senior Engineering Program Manager from 1985 to 1994, he was responsible for the Type Certification of many Canadair/Bombardier aircraft and various foreign products. He re-joined the Structures Section in Aircraft Certification Branch as Superintendent from 1994 to 1999. He was appointed Chief of the Engineering Division in 1999 and Director, National Aircraft Certification Branch in 2001.
Martin is a Professional Engineer and an Associate Fellow of the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute (CASI).
Fabio Gamba began his professional career at the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO), where he eventually took up the newly created role of Business Manager, tasked with overseeing the expansion of the organisation’s international profile and influence on the many issues affecting its members. Thereafter he joined the Boeing Company, where he assumed different positions before becoming Deputy Director, Business Development and Strategy Europe. In that role, from 2004 to 2006, he supervised the development of the US manufacturer’s Phantom Works Research & Development activities in Europe.
Appointed in 2006, Gamba spent nearly five years serving as Deputy Secretary General of the Association of European Airlines (AEA), where he focused primarily on promoting the interests of legacy carriers and established strong ties with the European Institutions and EU Member States.
In September of 2011, Gamba was appointed to the full-time position of EBAA CEO. He runs the EBAA business from the Association’s Brussels headquarters, and has taken on the significant role of actively liaising with EBAA members and further enhancing the Association’s relationship with Europe’s chief decision-making bodies.
Richard is Vice President of Analysis at Teal Group. He manages consulting projects in the commercial and military aircraft field and analyzes broader defense and aerospace trends. He has advised numerous aerospace companies, including most prime and many second- and third-tier contractors in the US, Europe and Asia. He also advises numerous financial institutions on aerospace market conditions.
Richard writes and edits Teal Group's World Military and Civil Aircraft Briefing, a forecasting tool covering over 135 aircraft programs and markets. He also writes publicly about aviation and defense, with numerous articles in Aviation Week and Space Technology, the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Professional Pilot, and other publications. He has a regular column in AIAA's Aerospace America.
Frequently cited as an aviation industry authority by trade and news publications, Richard has also appeared on numerous television news and radio programs including ABC, BBC, Bloomberg, Reuters, CBS, CNN, NBC, NPR and PBS. He has spoken at numerous conferences, including ATRIF, NAFA, NARA, Network for Aerospace Management in Europe (NAME), and Speednews. He presents a yearly lecture to the National Defense University/Industrial College of the Armed Forces and has served as an expert witness in aerospace markets.
Before he joined Teal Group in 1990, Richard analyzed the jet engine market at Jane's Information Group, served as an aerospace industry consultant for an international trade advisory company and supported research projects at the Brookings Institution. He has a Masters degree in War Studies from King’s College, University of London and a Bachelors degree from George Washington University. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Casey, son, Simon, and daughter, Wren.
Kathy Lee is President & CEO of GE Capital in Canada, a leading provider of financial and fleet management solutions to businesses operating in a broad range of economic sectors in the country.
Prior to her current role, Kathy served as Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital Real Estate in Canada since 2002, building it to a full debt and equity operating company.
Kathy joined GE in 1994 as a portfolio and business development manager at GE Capital Real Estate, based in Toronto. In 1997 she was promoted to the position of Director, Mergers and Acquisitions for GE Capital’s Pension Fund Advisory Services based in San Francisco, and in 1999 Kathy was appointed the Managing Director of GE Capital Real Estate Korea based in Seoul and Tokyo.
Prior to joining GE, Kathy worked for Ernst & Young starting in audit staff and then advanced to the Corporate Insolvency & Restructuring Group. Kathy is a member of the GE Canada Board of Directors, Business Leaders Council for GE Canada, a Honorary Co-chair of the Greater Toronto Marketing Alliance (GTMA) and a champion for GE Women’s Network, GE’s Asian-Pacific American Forum and community involvement.
A graduate of the University of Toronto and a chartered accountant, Kathy is located in Montreal and Toronto where she resides with her husband and son.
As you may know, as an exhibitor participating in a show, you must have adequate Liability Insurance with a minimum $2,000,000 limit to protect the Exhibitors, the attending public, the show organizer and yourself.
Our insurance policy does not extend coverage to any exhibits and requires you to submit a Certificate of Insurance upon receipt of the exhibitor’s manual.
