CBAA is the only organization in Canada that advocates for the business aviation community. We represent the industry before Parliament, government agencies, and international regulation-setting organizations. Working with our members, we determine the most critical issues and work to resolve them. If you need to put your issues on the table, CBAA is your best and most direct link to decision makers.
Your national – and international – voice - Located steps away from Parliament Hill, CBAA promotes the interests of business aviation, advocating on its behalf to a myriad of Federal Government agencies including Transport Canada, NAV CANADA, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on issues ranging from cross border access, Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), the environment, and Performance Based Navigation (PBN). CBAA also communicates and coordinates with other organizations to ensure that CBAA members, and the Canadian viewpoint, is well represented, including the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), the Air Transport Association of Canada (ATAC), the Aerospace Industry Association of Canada (AIAC), the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) and others.
Your local and regional ally - CBAA addresses local issues through its regional chapters in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatchewan, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax, which hold regular meetings to network and address relevant topics. These meetings are open to the aviation community and provide valuable opportunities to meet and discuss issues on how the CBAA can help resolve regional concerns.
