Membership Development and Liaison Position

The CBAA requires the services of a knowledgeable individual, employed on a contract basis, to work with the CBAA to strengthen its membership base and build and maintain strong relationships with current, past and potential members.

Reporting to the CEO, and working with the entire team, this individual would be responsible for identifying potential members, selling new memberships, reacquiring lapsed members and maintaining strong relationships with current members.

Strong communications and organizational skills are essential, and a background in aviation, particularly business aviation, is an asset.  The individual will be expected to be in continuous communications with members and potential members to maintain a strong relationship and to identify and rectify issues as they occur, as well as ensuring that the CEO is kept apprised.

The position requires travel across Canada to meet personally with each current and prospective member and aircraft owners/operators on an ongoing basis.  The individual will also be required to support the association in its other activities related to membership, including but not limited to, the annual convention and other industry trade shows. We estimate that a level of effort of about 25 hours a week on average on a monthly basis.  However, the actual number of hours per week could vary considerably depending on several factors.

The ability to communicate fluently in both English and French may influence the selection of an individual.
